Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kristofers Sajuks started the match with the kick off. When Aivis Kvjatkēvics fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TΞKMΛN FC's protests and gave Aivis Kvjatkēvics a yellow card for diving instead. 7 minutes into the game, Daumants Venners was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Riga 1998's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TΞKMΛN FC the free kick. In the 7th match minute, SK Riga 1998 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daumants Venners to maneuver through the defense. Vilmārs Felbergs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. SK Riga 1998's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Aivis Kvjatkēvics hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Ikars Pesecks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute Kristofers Sajuks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Kristofers Sajuks made a precise shot to the right of Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. SK Riga 1998's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Vilmārs Felbergs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, TΞKMΛN FC's Vilmārs Felbergs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armands Bumaga-Papīrs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, TΞKMΛN FC's Ikars Pesecks got a free kick in the 38th minute. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilmārs Felbergs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half TΞKMΛN FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Riga 1998's goalkeeper Armands Bumaga-Papīrs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 57 played minutes TΞKMΛN FC got a freekick which was hit by Ikars Pesecks. Mairis Malcenieks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imants Zvaigznonis in the 59th minute of the match. TΞKMΛN FC's Vilmārs Felbergs got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SK Riga 1998's Armands Bumaga-Papīrs got control of the ball when Ikars Pesecks tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 64 minutes of play SK Riga 1998's Daumants Venners was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vilmārs Felbergs. After 72 minutes of play, TΞKMΛN FC's Kristofers Sajuks made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armands Bumaga-Papīrs made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Mareks Pajats sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes SK Riga 1998's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vilmārs Felbergs who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on TΞKMΛN FC's corner Vilmārs Felbergs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armands Bumaga-Papīrs quite easily take care of the ball. Gints Snebergs kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, SK Riga 1998's Armands Bumaga-Papīrs got control of the ball when Kristofers Sajuks tried to sneak it across the goal line. SK Riga 1998's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Kristofers Sajuks scored to the left of an out of position Armands Bumaga-Papīrs, making the score, 1-5. After 86 played minutes TΞKMΛN FC got a freekick which was hit by Ikars Pesecks. Kristofers Sajuks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, TΞKMΛN FC's Vilmārs Felbergs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. The TΞKMΛN FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
