Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toms Felss, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Toms Felss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Demirci went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, GAUJA's goalkeeper Toms Felss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Demirci. Cazimir Slătineanu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cazimir Slătineanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GAUJA getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cazimir Slătineanu hit a great ball. After 19 minutes of play, FK Tornado's He Chen Xi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toms Felss was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, GAUJA's Zigismunds Piekalns got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Toms Felss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkādijs Vietnieks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, GAUJA's Toms Felss got control of the ball when Ahmet Demirci tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Arkādijs Vietnieks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Tornado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. GAUJA's Toms Felss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Chen Xi in the 32nd minute of play. Toms Felss made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ahmet Demirci sent off a good shot on target. Toms Felss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Enmanuel in the 37th minute of play. In the 45th minute He Chen Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toms Felss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the GAUJA defense, Ahmet Demirci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toms Felss. The GAUJA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toms Felss should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anatols Bundziņš in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toms Felss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute Ahmet Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toms Felss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of GAUJA booed when FK Tornado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastijans Spars didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michal Noworolnik struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Sigit Sulaksana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAUJA. FK Tornado walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
