Pål Bergmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavs Eliass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Edmunds Tambergs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes, Olavs Eliass made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. DZINTARS's Pål Bergmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, DZINTARS's goal looked a bit too open when Olavs Eliass came free, but Pål Bergmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Ponciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryant Solis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kārlis Dzintars in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktors Behmans in the 18th minute of play forced DZINTARS's goalkeeper Pål Bergmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match FC Iecēni got a corner. DZINTARS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gints Lielgalvis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gints Lielgalvis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DZINTARS's Pål Bergmann did a great save. Genaro Ponciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryant Solis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Genaro Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryant Solis in the 24th minute of the match. Gints Lielgalvis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ģirts Ozols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Genaro Ponciano made a huge save. Pål Bergmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktors Behmans in the 33rd minute of play. Genaro Ponciano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryant Solis in the 35th minute. Ģirts Ozols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Genaro Ponciano made a huge save. With a little luck, FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano got control of the ball when Ģirts Ozols tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ģirts Ozols. Ģirts Ozols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Genaro Ponciano made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, Olavs Eliass cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pål Bergmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bryant Solis made a kick off. A collision led to DZINTARS getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Egons Ozollapa hit a great ball. 2-3 became the score in the 60th minute when Ģirts Ozols elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC Iecēni's Uvis Svitiņš was substituted for Viktors Behmans. FC Iecēni's Leons Gudrenieks was substituted for Olafs Buncis. After having played for 69 minutes, Olavs Eliass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Iecēni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavs Eliass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Henrihs Linkūns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egons Ozollapa kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ingvars Tresters made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Iecēni's Gints Lielgalvis. Pål Bergmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tenis Jencs in the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryant Solis in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Ponciano saved FC Iecēni from getting behind. Pål Bergmann came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Iecēni's Olavs Eliass. But to his dismay, Olavs Eliass quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 92 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's Olavs Eliass sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pål Bergmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olavs Eliass who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Pål Bergmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goal looked a bit too open when Henrihs Linkūns came free, but Genaro Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The DZINTARS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Iecēni's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Iecēni.
