When Teofilo Cucao came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Insane Raccoons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Cucao couldn't finish the play. FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cucao in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Teofilo Cucao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kostas Birbas, 2-0. Severīns Pirtslāva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 26th playminute. Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oļģerts Ezermala in the 30th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Insane Raccoons FC's Severīns Pirtslāva made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Birbas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oļģerts Ezermala charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oļģerts Ezermala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oļģerts Ezermala hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 41st play minutes Teofilo Cucao shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Kostas Birbas and just under the crossbar into goal. FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cucao in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Insane Raccoons FC got a penalty, and Aleksejs Gavars placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Oļģerts Ezermala made the kick off in the second half. Aleksejs Gavars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kostas Birbas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Insane Raccoons FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Insane Raccoons FC's Teofilo Cucao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cucao in the 61st minute of play. After 64 minutes, Sandris Birks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Insane Raccoons FC and the FC Melluži players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Sandris Birks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Melluži defense, Severīns Pirtslāva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Birbas. The FC Melluži fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Birbas should have stopped the shot. Severīns Pirtslāva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Birbas having to interfere. In the 74th minute Valgudis Dārzs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mareks Vārpiņš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Dāniels Šlosbergs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Melluži getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Āris Cicis hit a great ball. FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cucao in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Severīns Pirtslāva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kostas Birbas was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Teofilo Cucao put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kostas Birbas. Teofilo Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Birbas having to interfere. The supporters of Insane Raccoons FC booed when FC Melluži was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dāniels Šlosbergs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Birbas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Cucao in the 94th minute of play.
