After 2 played minutes FC Melluži got a freekick which was hit by Zandis Dziesma. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryant Solis in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostas Birbas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryant Solis in the 7th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Kārlis Dzintars recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kostas Birbas. Kārlis Dzintars showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Bryant Solis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Birbas was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 20th minute DZINTARS were awarded a corner. Egons Ozollapa went to the cornerflag to take it. Bryant Solis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, DZINTARS's goal looked a bit too open when Oļģerts Ezermala came free, but Pål Bergmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryant Solis in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kostas Birbas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 30 minutes into the match, Ģirts Ozols dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kostas Birbas, 2-0. Kārlis Dzintars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kostas Birbas came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by DZINTARS's Ģirts Ozols. But to his dismay, Ģirts Ozols quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Egons Ozollapa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. DZINTARS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kārlis Dzintars in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, FC Melluži's goal looked a bit too open when Bryant Solis came free, but Kostas Birbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Melluži defense, Kārlis Dzintars kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Birbas. The FC Melluži fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Birbas should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oļģerts Ezermala was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, DZINTARS's Kārlis Dzintars nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kostas Birbas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The supporters of DZINTARS booed when FC Melluži was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raits Štolcs didn't get a good kick on the ball. DZINTARS made a substitution. Henrihs Linkūns replaced Kārlis Dzintars. Raits Štolcs hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Bryant Solis came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the DZINTARS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryant Solis couldn't finish the play. After 61 minutes, Bryant Solis made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henrihs Linkūns scored 9-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kostas Birbas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes, Bryant Solis made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ģirts Ozols in the 79th minute of play forced FC Melluži's goalkeeper Kostas Birbas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Melluži defense, Henrihs Linkūns kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Birbas. The FC Melluži fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Birbas should have stopped the shot. Henrihs Linkūns struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Kostas Birbas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DZINTARS. Kostas Birbas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryant Solis in the 93rd minute of the match.
