The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute Marin Ailenei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigrīds Paupers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saivis Kikals showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vents Ovdaks in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Riga's Marin Ailenei got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Sidnei Silveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Riga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. BumboTava's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elói Siqueira in the 27th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Ailenei made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Ailenei got free with Zigrīds Paupers in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saivis Kikals didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xoan Huguet went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Zigrīds Paupers managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when FC Riga's Marin Ailenei fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zigrīds Paupers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Dortāns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xoan Huguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saivis Kikals having to interfere. When Vents Ovdaks came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the BumboTava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vents Ovdaks couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, FC Riga's goal looked a bit too open when Tabb Bornes came free, but Saivis Kikals reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, BumboTava's Xoan Huguet made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saivis Kikals was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Riga's Dāvis Pipiris got a free kick in the 82nd minute.
