Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Alfonsas Drevinskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vabaly's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonsas Drevinskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vidmantas Švambaris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alfonsas Drevinskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giedrius Aponavičius hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Leonas Lozys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelijus Jakštys went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the game, Ugnius Baliutis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VIESULAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vabaly the free kick. In the 12th minute, Ugnius Baliutis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vidmantas Švambaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Airūnas Jatulevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelijus Jakštys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes Vabaly got a freekick which was hit by Giedrius Aponavičius. Ugnius Matulas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Aurelijus Jakštys left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VIESULAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.

The wind increased when Airūnas Jatulevičius made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Aurelijus Jakštys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonas Lozys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Zenonas Dapšas managed to get in a good position for a shot. VIESULAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenonas Dapšas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonas Lozys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zenonas Dapšas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonas Lozys having to interfere. In the 70th minute Airūnas Jatulevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidmantas Švambaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelijus Jakštys in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonas Lozys saved Vabaly from getting behind. Leonas Lozys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenonas Dapšas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zenonas Dapšas in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonas Lozys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Vabaly's zone, Aurelijus Jakštys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonas Lozys came out of the goal and Aurelijus Jakštys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonas Lozys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenonas Dapšas in the 84th minute of play. When VIESULAS's Zenonas Dapšas in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vabaly's goalie prevented a goal. Aurelijus Jakštys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonas Lozys having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VIESULAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vabaly had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
