Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alius Dauparas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Leonas Lozys was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alius Dauparas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Leonas Lozys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alius Dauparas in the 12th minute of play. Tauras Palionis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonas Lozys having to interfere. In the 20th minute Alius Dauparas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonas Lozys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linas Vitkus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Airūnas Jatulevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FK Matiskiai getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nerijus Tarasevičius hit a great ball. Alfonsas Drevinskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonsas Drevinskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linas Vitkus having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Alfonsas Drevinskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Linas Vitkus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tauras Palionis came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FK Matiskiai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tauras Palionis couldn't finish the play. Linas Vitkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Airūnas Jatulevičius in the 41st minute of the match. In the 48th minute Vabaly were awarded a corner. Linas Urnikis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Vabaly's Alfredas Žąsinas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Airūnas Jatulevičius made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alius Dauparas in the 54th minute of play forced Vabaly's goalkeeper Leonas Lozys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FK Matiskiai booed when Vabaly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eligijus Dargis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rimas Obrikis, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vabaly! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for FK Matiskiai. Rimas Obrikis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonas Lozys. 2-1. Giedrius Aponavičius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Linas Vitkus having to make a save. Ugnius Girinskis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonas Lozys having to interfere. Alius Dauparas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Leonas Lozys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tauras Palionis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alius Dauparas in the 88th minute of play forced Vabaly's goalkeeper Leonas Lozys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonsas Drevinskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Linas Vitkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonsas Drevinskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linas Vitkus having to interfere. Rimas Obrikis's late challenge caught a Vabaly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rimas Obrikis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute, Rimas Obrikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 99 minutes in the game Eitautas Prakapas got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vabaly players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FK Matiskiai.
