The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenijus Bacevičius was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Medyniki booed when FK Poshaltune was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aivaras Tamošauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Virgilijus Juknevicius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aidas Maziliauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilijus Juknevicius in the 88th minute of the match. Nedas Dauparas charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Aidas Maziliauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FK Poshaltune's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
