Tauras Raudys's late challenge caught a FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tauras Raudys helped the player get up and apologised. Tauras Raudys kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Šarūnas Saldukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daugirdas Lukošaitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Adomas Nakčiunas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adomas Nakčiunas got free with Šarūnas Saldukas in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FK Nord's Šarūnas Saldukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daugirdas Lukošaitis in the 15th minute of play. Stasys Jakštys scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Šarūnas Saldukas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 24 played minutes FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Adomas Nakčiunas. In the 34th minute, Tauras Raudys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rimas Juozaitis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Stasys Jakštys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Šarūnas Saldukas made a huge save. FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's Rimas Juozaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajus Martinaitis in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stasys Jakštys made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Albertas Giedraitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Adomas Nakčiunas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's supporters rose to their feet, but Adomas Nakčiunas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Šarūnas Saldukas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 played minutes FK Nord got a freekick which was hit by Airidas Valiukas. Šarūnas Saldukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasys Jakštys, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the FK Nord defense, Stasys Jakštys kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Šarūnas Saldukas. The FK Nord fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Šarūnas Saldukas should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Stasys Jakštys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Šarūnas Saldukas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stasys Jakštys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Šarūnas Saldukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Adomas Nakčiunas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Šarūnas Saldukas. FK Nord's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adomas Nakčiunas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Šarūnas Saldukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasys Jakštys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Adomas Nakčiunas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Šarūnas Saldukas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robertas Dailidonis shot from long distance in the 94th minute, but Rimas Juozaitis was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai fully deserved thier win.
