Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kajus Martinaitis kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Titas Matusevičius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Šarūnas Saldukas. FK Nord's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Titas Matusevičius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th match minute, FK Nord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giedrius Sabulis to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Marijonas Martinkėnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šarūnas Saldukas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignas Tindžiulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Šarūnas Saldukas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignas Tindžiulis in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Šarūnas Saldukas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marijonas Martinkėnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes of play, FK ALYTIS's Ignas Tindžiulis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Šarūnas Saldukas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nerijus Tamulevičius during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Nerijus Tamulevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Airidas Valiukas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tauras Raudys charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tauras Raudys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marijonas Martinkėnas got free with Šarūnas Saldukas in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FK Nord's Šarūnas Saldukas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FK Nord from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, FK ALYTIS's goal looked a bit too open when Tauras Raudys came free, but Vytenis Samalionis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FK ALYTIS's Benediktas Čebatorius got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tauras Raudys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vytenis Samalionis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Šarūnas Saldukas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignas Tindžiulis in the 85th minute of play. Nerijus Tamulevičius hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Alvydas Purvinis shot from long distance in the 88th minute, but Šarūnas Saldukas was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Tauras Raudys was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th minute, Tauras Raudys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match, Marijonas Martinkėnas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Šarūnas Saldukas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marijonas Martinkėnas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Šarūnas Saldukas made a huge save. The FK Nord fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FK ALYTIS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
