Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Deividas Staponkus started the match with the kick off. Petras Vilčinskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenijus Gegeckas in the 4th minute of play. If Feliksas Galskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Balzam Giedymina's Eugenijus Gegeckas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petras Vilčinskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Balzam Giedymina got a freekick which was hit by Algimantas Čepulis. Eugenijus Gegeckas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petras Vilčinskas having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Balzam Giedymina's goalkeeper Vydas Kalinauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliksas Galskis. Eugenijus Gegeckas took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petras Vilčinskas. Petras Vilčinskas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Deividas Staponkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Nerūnas Buivys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petras Vilčinskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deividas Staponkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rolandas Bakutis fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milioniske's protests and gave Rolandas Bakutis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Rolandas Bakutis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Eugenijus Gegeckas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petras Vilčinskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eugenijus Gegeckas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jurgis Dapšas to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deividas Staponkus in the 53rd minute of play forced Milioniske's goalkeeper Petras Vilčinskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vydas Kalinauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurgis Dapšas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenijus Gegeckas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Petras Vilčinskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deividas Staponkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenijus Gegeckas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Petras Vilčinskas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Milioniske getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Pranas Subačius hit a great ball. When Eugenijus Gegeckas came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Balzam Giedymina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenijus Gegeckas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 66 minutes, Feliksas Galskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milioniske's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliksas Galskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th play minute Eugenijus Gegeckas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Petras Vilčinskas. 0-3. After having played for 74 minutes, Jurgis Dapšas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milioniske's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurgis Dapšas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eugenijus Gegeckas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balzam Giedymina's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenijus Gegeckas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petras Vilčinskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petras Vilčinskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deividas Staponkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match Eugenijus Gegeckas climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-5 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Petras Vilčinskas. Vydas Kalinauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurgis Dapšas, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Balzam Giedymina could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Milioniske throughout the match.
