The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benjaminas Baltramiejūnas charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjaminas Baltramiejūnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tupiku booed when InKarai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjaminas Baltramiejūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, InKarai's goalkeeper Liutauras Dališanskis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustas Miceika. In the 12th minute, Rupertas Mileikis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The InKarai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 28 minutes, Dainius Tamašauskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tupiku's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dainius Tamašauskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Benjaminas Baltramiejūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Tupiku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gytis Vainauskas to maneuver through the defense. Faustas Miceika received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Liutauras Dališanskis came out and tried to block the shot, but Faustas Miceika slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. InKarai's Liutauras Dališanskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dainius Tamašauskis in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Tupiku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Girkantas Linkus to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes, Drąsutis Račinskas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupiku and the InKarai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Drąsutis Račinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dainius Tamašauskis to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes InKarai got a freekick which was hit by Rupertas Mileikis. Gytis Vainauskas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Liutauras Dališanskis. InKarai's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Liutauras Dališanskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dainius Tamašauskis in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes InKarai got a freekick which was hit by Klemensas Rudys. 61 minutes into the game, Faustas Miceika cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Liutauras Dališanskis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liutauras Dališanskis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustas Miceika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarūnas Giedraitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ignas Kardelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Faustas Miceika notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of InKarai's Liutauras Dališanskis. Liutauras Dališanskis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Klemensas Kerpauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 86th minute Faustas Miceika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liutauras Dališanskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. InKarai's Liutauras Dališanskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dainius Tamašauskis in the 89th minute of play. Dainius Tamašauskis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liutauras Dališanskis having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Tupiku's goalkeeper Ignas Kardelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarūnas Giedraitis. Tupiku's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
