Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Isak Ielo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Walter Sanvig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zigmas Pavilionis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. FK Palanga's Walter Sanvig got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Laukininkay's zone, Isak Ielo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zigmas Pavilionis came out of the goal and Isak Ielo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Klemensas Dalangauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laukininkay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klemensas Dalangauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Frank Bassani sped through Laukininkay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zigmas Pavilionis. The supporters of FK Palanga booed when Laukininkay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvydas Balandis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Isak Ielo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Palanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Isak Ielo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zigmas Pavilionis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Frank Bassani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigmas Pavilionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Ielo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zigmas Pavilionis. Zigmas Pavilionis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Ielo in the 42nd minute of play forced Laukininkay's goalkeeper Zigmas Pavilionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FK Palanga's Isak Ielo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Bassani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klemensas Dalangauskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FK Palanga's Isak Ielo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zigmas Pavilionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vytenis Gudavičius in the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Isak Ielo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Palanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Isak Ielo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zigmas Pavilionis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laukininkay's goalkeeper Zigmas Pavilionis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isak Ielo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isak Ielo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigmas Pavilionis having to interfere. Frank Bassani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Frank Bassani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigmas Pavilionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isak Ielo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FK Palanga played a much better game than Laukininkay and deserved their victory. The Laukininkay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
