The FC MANOWAR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Raimondas Pukelevičius might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juozas Steponaitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimondas Pukelevičius ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antanas Mažeika during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Hubertas Borgela made a precise shot to the right of Juozas Steponaitis. FK KAUNO JĖGERIAI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Vytaras Pečiulis came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the FC MANOWAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vytaras Pečiulis couldn't finish the play. FC MANOWAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubertas Borgela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donatas Tarvydas kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Drąsutis Ališauskas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juozas Steponaitis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When FC MANOWAR's Raimondas Pukelevičius in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK KAUNO JĖGERIAI's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimondas Pukelevičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juozas Steponaitis made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ignas Gulbinas sent off a good shot on target. Raimondas Pukelevičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Juozas Steponaitis made a huge save. Drąsutis Ališauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimondas Pukelevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC MANOWAR booed when FK KAUNO JĖGERIAI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bronius Bakšys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimondas Pukelevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bronius Bakšys hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Juozas Steponaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vytaras Pečiulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Raimondas Pukelevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juozas Steponaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubertas Borgela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Juozas Steponaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimondas Pukelevičius went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The FK KAUNO JĖGERIAI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC MANOWAR were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
