After 14 played minutes, FC Patrankos's Vladas Andrijaitis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Irtautas Inda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Patrankos reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vydas Dumša in the 21st minute of play forced FC Patrankos's goalkeeper Aras Drevinskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aras Drevinskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vydas Dumša, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Merūnas Adomkevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Aras Drevinskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonas Fokas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramūnas Gruodis in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Irtautas Inda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Merūnas Adomkevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aras Drevinskas made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Vydas Dumša sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Ramūnas Gruodis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irtautas Inda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 65 minutes into the game, FK ERELIAI's Vydas Dumša nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aras Drevinskas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 74th minute Ramūnas Gruodis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irtautas Inda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Agnius Judeikis put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Patrankos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 90th minute of the match, Arminas Povilionis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aras Drevinskas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 97th match minute, FC Patrankos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aidas Baltaragis to maneuver through the defense. Although FC Patrankos had been in control for most of the match, FK ERELIAI still came away with the win.
