He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Regimantas Grybauskas. FC DEVILS's Vitoldas Slavinskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloyzas Budraitis in the 9th minute of play. When Albertas Adomkevičius came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC DEVILS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertas Adomkevičius couldn't finish the play. Vladas Prakapas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Senautis's Vladas Prakapas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitoldas Slavinskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Aloyzas Budraitis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitoldas Slavinskas having to make a save. After 63 minutes, Lauras Danasas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senautis and the FC DEVILS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC DEVILS booed when Senautis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauras Danasas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladas Prakapas in the 66th minute of play forced FC DEVILS's goalkeeper Vitoldas Slavinskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes FC DEVILS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erlandas Račys who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jeronimas Dabrikas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 76th minute, Edmundas Kubilas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladas Prakapas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Edmundas Kubilas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC DEVILS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Senautis the free kick. In the 84th minute, Edmundas Kubilas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erlandas Račys was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloyzas Budraitis got free with Vitoldas Slavinskas in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aloyzas Budraitis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitoldas Slavinskas having to make a save. If Vladas Prakapas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Senautis failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
