Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 100) BMW's Renatas Dalinkevičius quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aloyzas Dobilas, made in the 4th minute of the game. In the 4th minute Sigitas Narauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danas Ašmontas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arūnas Gaurelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FK Bulius's Danas Ašmontas got control of the ball when Sigitas Narauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, BMW's goal looked a bit too open when Gvidonas Ruzgys came free, but Vėjas Jakubauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Erikas Keršys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Bulius's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BMW the free kick. After a rather tough play, FK Bulius's Erikas Keršys got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gvidonas Ruzgys in the 22nd minute of play forced BMW's goalkeeper Vėjas Jakubauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vėjas Jakubauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gvidonas Strielkauskas in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes BMW got a freekick which was hit by Renatas Dalinkevičius. Vėjas Jakubauskas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gvidonas Ruzgys went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes BMW got a freekick which was hit by Arūnas Gaurelis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arūnas Gaurelis in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danas Ašmontas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arūnas Gaurelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danas Ašmontas having to interfere. Arūnas Gaurelis struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Danas Ašmontas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BMW. Sigitas Narauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danas Ašmontas having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Sigitas Narauskas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danas Ašmontas. Sigitas Narauskas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
The wind increased when Svajūnas Vadeikis made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Gvidonas Ruzgys reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vėjas Jakubauskas. The goal made the score 1-2. Sigitas Narauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danas Ašmontas having to interfere. Sigitas Narauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Irtautas Astrauskas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Bulius and the BMW players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, FK Bulius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irtautas Astrauskas to maneuver through the defense. Sigitas Narauskas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Danas Ašmontas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BMW. Alfonsas Bačkys was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, one of BMW:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BMW. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, FK Bulius's Jogaila Zabulis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vėjas Jakubauskas. Vilmantas Strazdas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The long shot by Irtautas Astrauskas in the 79th minute really tested Vėjas Jakubauskas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gvidonas Strielkauskas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vėjas Jakubauskas. That made the score 1-4 in the 80 minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, BMW's goal looked a bit too open when Svajūnas Vadeikis came free, but Vėjas Jakubauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arūnas Gaurelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danas Ašmontas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After 87 played minutes FK Bulius got a freekick which was hit by Svajūnas Vadeikis. After a defensive mix-up in FK Bulius's zone, Arūnas Gaurelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danas Ašmontas came out of the goal and Arūnas Gaurelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, BMW's Vėjas Jakubauskas got control of the ball when Gvidonas Strielkauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kęstutis Andriušaitis fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BMW's protests and gave Kęstutis Andriušaitis a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FK Bulius walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
