Stasys Tulčius charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stasys Tulčius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Benas Misgirdas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kipras Inčiūra was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. FBK MadeGo's Eurelijus Leimontas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Vasiliauskas in the 9th minute of play. Valdemaras Budrys charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemaras Budrys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Geguzine booed when FBK MadeGo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemaras Budrys didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Geguzine's Tomas Vasiliauskas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eurelijus Leimontas. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. A collision led to Geguzine getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Stasys Tulčius hit a great ball. Tomas Vasiliauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FBK MadeGo's zone, Tomas Vasiliauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurelijus Leimontas came out of the goal and Tomas Vasiliauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FBK MadeGo's Eugenijus Karaliūnas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Liudas Daunoras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 26 minutes, Vitoldas Krivickas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FBK MadeGo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitoldas Krivickas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomas Vasiliauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benas Misgirdas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kipras Inčiūra was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Liudas Daunoras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eurelijus Leimontas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurelijus Leimontas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Vasiliauskas in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benas Misgirdas to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Vasiliauskas in the 51st minute of play forced FBK MadeGo's goalkeeper Eurelijus Leimontas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benas Misgirdas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasys Tulčius kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Tomas Vasiliauskas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Kipras Inčiūra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benas Misgirdas in the 65th minute of the match. Tomas Vasiliauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Liudas Daunoras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vydas Sargūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liudas Daunoras in the 71st minute of play forced FBK MadeGo's goalkeeper Eurelijus Leimontas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Geguzine got a freekick which was hit by Justas Valuckis. 74 minutes into the match, FBK MadeGo's Laimonas Velička broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Geguzine's goal looked a bit too open when Benas Misgirdas came free, but Kipras Inčiūra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Liudas Daunoras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurelijus Leimontas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liudas Daunoras went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the FBK MadeGo defense, Liudas Daunoras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurelijus Leimontas. The FBK MadeGo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurelijus Leimontas should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitoldas Krivickas got free with Kipras Inčiūra in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th match minute, FBK MadeGo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemaras Budrys to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Geguzine's Justas Valuckis tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Geguzine had played much better football throughout.
