Damiano Di Giambattista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ričardas Davolis in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, FC Galliora's goalkeeper Damiano Di Giambattista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erlandas Bagarauskas. 21 minutes into the match, FC Galliora's goal looked a bit too open when Ričardas Davolis came free, but Damiano Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Di Giambattista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aistis Knieža in the 23rd minute of the match. Arnoldas Kibildis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaldas Misiulis might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saulius Armoška. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaldas Misiulis ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 played minutes, FC Galliora's Tautrimas Poškus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saulius Armoška came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Galliora reached it. Gytis Šimkevičius thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Damiano Di Giambattista, a very annoying self made goal in the 45th minute which led to 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ričardas Davolis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Arnoldas Kibildis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aistis Knieža received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Damiano Di Giambattista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrius Sabačiauskas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Aistis Knieža shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Di Giambattista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Stasys Abakaitis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Galliora's Damiano Di Giambattista. Damiano Di Giambattista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the game, Aistis Knieža cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Damiano Di Giambattista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, Arnoldas Kibildis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saulius Armoška, 4-1. After a rather tough play, FC Galliora's Andrius Sabačiauskas got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th match minute, FC Galliora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaldas Misiulis to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Buk Slaptas had won after a very even match.
