Mindaugas Norutis scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damiano Di Giambattista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Mazeikiu ROMAR's Ramūnas Macius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldas Kibildis in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes FC Galliora got a freekick which was hit by Evaldas Misiulis. In the 20thth minute of the game Mindaugas Norutis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Galliora's Damiano Di Giambattista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 played minutes FC Galliora got a freekick which was hit by Tautrimas Poškus. In the 24th minute of the match Kristijonas Baracevičius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damiano Di Giambattista skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrius Sabačiauskas during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Galliora's Arnoldas Kibildis got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of FC Mazeikiu ROMAR booed when FC Galliora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vakaris Marcinkevičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juras Balčaitis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Gediminas Mališka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Galliora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Mazeikiu ROMAR the free kick. A collision led to FC Galliora getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gediminas Mališka hit a great ball. Merūnas Tiškevičius charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merūnas Tiškevičius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes FC Mazeikiu ROMAR got a freekick which was hit by Merūnas Tiškevičius. Damiano Di Giambattista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mindaugas Norutis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virginijus Rusteikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Di Giambattista having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldas Kibildis made a kick off. Ramūnas Macius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldas Kibildis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When FC Mazeikiu ROMAR's Mindaugas Norutis in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Galliora's goalie prevented a goal. After 58 minutes, Mindaugas Norutis made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. With his leg Damiano Di Giambattista managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when FC Mazeikiu ROMAR's Mindaugas Norutis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mindaugas Norutis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Damiano Di Giambattista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merūnas Tiškevičius in the 68th minute of play forced FC Galliora's goalkeeper Damiano Di Giambattista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mindaugas Norutis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Mindaugas Norutis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Di Giambattista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tautrimas Poškus hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ramūnas Macius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldas Kibildis in the 84th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, FC Mazeikiu ROMAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuste Rajoi to maneuver through the defense. Virginijus Rusteikis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 played minutes FC Mazeikiu ROMAR got a freekick which was hit by Mindaugas Norutis. In the 96th minute, Mindaugas Norutis fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Damiano Di Giambattista. When the match was over FC Mazeikiu ROMAR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Galliora throughout the match.
