Gediminas Mališka was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, one of FC Galliora:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Josef Lindholm shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a rather tough play, FC Galliora's Andrius Sabačiauskas got a free kick in the 64th minute. Karolis Mažutavičius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Damiano Di Giambattista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Pompiliu Amarandei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Di Giambattista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pompiliu Amarandei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
