Gintautas Martinkus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdemaras Endrulis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Valdemaras Endrulis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Germanas Abukauskas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Germanas Vilkas skillfully saved the ball. Gintautas Martinkus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nojus Kalvelis in the 41st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Nojus Kalvelis took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Gintautas Martinkus to make any attempt to save it. Gintautas Martinkus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nojus Kalvelis's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
