Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nojus Kalvelis in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustas Šileika prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustas Šileika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nojus Kalvelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Germanas Vilkas was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Aras Galinis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aras Galinis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Faustas Šileika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vygandas Karvelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Vincentas Gudonis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Germanas Vilkas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Žygimantas Vaičiulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Valatkiskiai booed when 1990 Gargzdai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gytis Almintas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Eigirdas Buinevičius made a precise shot to the right of Faustas Šileika. Valatkiskiai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nojus Kalvelis in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustas Šileika saved Valatkiskiai from getting behind. If Valdemaras Endrulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute Nojus Kalvelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustas Šileika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, 1990 Gargzdai's Nojus Kalvelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustas Šileika made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nojus Kalvelis to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, 1990 Gargzdai's goal looked a bit too open when Aras Galinis came free, but Germanas Vilkas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustas Šileika dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 73 minutes into the match, 1990 Gargzdai's goal looked a bit too open when Žygimantas Vaičiulis came free, but Germanas Vilkas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1990 Gargzdai's Germanas Vilkas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Galinis in the 76th minute of play. Henrikas Kairelis lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Žygimantas Vaičiulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as 1990 Gargzdai's Eigirdas Buinevičius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Faustas Šileika. That made the score 3-5 after 84 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Valatkiskiai's zone, Nojus Kalvelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustas Šileika came out of the goal and Nojus Kalvelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Valatkiskiai's zone, Rolandas Zubauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustas Šileika came out of the goal and Rolandas Zubauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
