Žygimantas Vaičiulis struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gintautas Martinkus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valatkiskiai. Gintautas Martinkus made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Žygimantas Vaičiulis sent off a good shot on target. When Real Betis Balompié's Vismantas Andriekus in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valatkiskiai's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Aras Galinis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faustas Šileika was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Real Betis Balompié booed when Valatkiskiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincentas Gudonis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Žygimantas Vaičiulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gintautas Martinkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Žygimantas Vaičiulis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Gintautas Martinkus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Laimonas Stankunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Faustas Šileika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aras Galinis to strike the kick off in the second half. Vismantas Andriekus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dobilas Makelevičius hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Vismantas Andriekus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustas Šileika was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Žygimantas Vaičiulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Valatkiskiai getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rokas Liaugminas hit a great ball. Faustas Šileika made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Laimonas Stankunas sent off a good shot on target. Valatkiskiai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Vismantas Andriekus scored to the left of an out of position Faustas Šileika, making the score, 1-2. Aras Galinis struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gintautas Martinkus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valatkiskiai. The Real Betis Balompié supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Betis Balompié would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
