Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorin Bădescu in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nedas Alzbutas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldas Gabrielaitis took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augustinas Andriušaitis. Augustinas Andriušaitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Osvaldas Gabrielaitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Osvaldas Gabrielaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Einaras Pranckevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustinas Andriušaitis having to interfere. The supporters of Telšiai booed when FC Akmenes Skaudučiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petras Kivilius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Osvaldas Gabrielaitis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telšiai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldas Gabrielaitis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vaidotas Burkys was the one to do the kick off. Osvaldas Gabrielaitis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Lauras Baltramaitis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lauras Baltramaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Osvaldas Gabrielaitis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Telšiai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Osvaldas Gabrielaitis might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augustinas Andriušaitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldas Gabrielaitis ran back to his position shaking his head. Laimutis Bakas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, FC Akmenes Skaudučiai's goalkeeper Augustinas Andriušaitis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laimutis Bakas.
