Spectators: 6953 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1798, VIP seats: 155) FK Vilnius's Zenonas Jovaiša started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Egidijus Bikauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merūnas Arlauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, FK Vilnius's Egidijus Bikauskas threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zhuang Yu Qiang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Albinas Maksimavičius came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Paleiciai's Irmantas Jarošas. But to his dismay, Irmantas Jarošas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herkus Bračas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Egidijus Bikauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merūnas Arlauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenonas Jovaiša in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egidijus Bikauskas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Egidijus Bikauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merūnas Arlauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Paleiciai's goal looked a bit too open when Merūnas Arlauskas came free, but Egidijus Bikauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zenonas Jovaiša got free with Egidijus Bikauskas in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vykintas Žilinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ernestas Milkus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albinas Maksimavičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Egidijus Bikauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Zaleckas in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, FK Vilnius's Zenonas Jovaiša nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egidijus Bikauskas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Zenonas Jovaiša had several of the Paleiciai's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Egidijus Bikauskas as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 46th minute Vykintas Žilinskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egidijus Bikauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Irmantas Jarošas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egidijus Bikauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merūnas Arlauskas in the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Alius Gudavičius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paleiciai and the FK Vilnius players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute Zenonas Jovaiša shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egidijus Bikauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Merūnas Arlauskas made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paleiciai's Egidijus Bikauskas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FK Vilnius booed when Paleiciai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajus Kaveckas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egidijus Bikauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuang Yu Qiang in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Paleiciai getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jogaila Makauskas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Merūnas Arlauskas in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egidijus Bikauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herkus Bračas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FK Vilnius booed when Paleiciai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jogaila Makauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Paleiciai booed when FK Vilnius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gytis Baura didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, FK Vilnius's goal looked a bit too open when Irmantas Jarošas came free, but Albinas Maksimavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FK Vilnius fully deserved thier win.
