It was a penalty for FC BAOBABAS! Aidas Milašius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orestas Mikočionis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC BAOBABAS's Pranas Mikočionis got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pranas Mikočionis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dafkes's goalkeeper Erlandas Geldutis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Agatas Leonavičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pranas Mikočionis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erlandas Geldutis having to interfere. Airūnas Dirkys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Erlandas Geldutis made a huge save. Pranas Mikočionis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half FC Dafkes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

56 minutes into the match, FC BAOBABAS's goalkeeper Aidas Milašius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orestas Mikočionis. In the 57th match minute, FC BAOBABAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius Ablingis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 58 minutes, Orestas Mikočionis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dafkes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orestas Mikočionis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Orestas Mikočionis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aidas Milašius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FC Dafkes booed when FC BAOBABAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Ablingis didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dafkes's Modestas Kiaunė couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC BAOBABAS. A collision led to FC BAOBABAS getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Benas Stankevičius hit a great ball. Aidas Milašius made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Orestas Mikočionis sent off a good shot on target. Pranas Mikočionis might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erlandas Geldutis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pranas Mikočionis ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Aistis Rupšys in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC BAOBABAS's Darius Ablingis. In the 95th minute Pranas Mikočionis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erlandas Geldutis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Airūnas Dirkys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC BAOBABAS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Dafkes's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Dafkes.
