Kristijonas Endrulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaldas Dalinkevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Remigijus Jacinaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaldas Dalinkevičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Remigijus Jacinaitis made a huge save. Gediminas Remeika hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Medeyki's Evaldas Dalinkevičius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigijus Jacinaitis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 26th minute, Margiris Barauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artūras Maciulevičius, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 28th match minute, Širvintų FK Elektronas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algimantas Miceika to maneuver through the defense. Faustas Nekrašas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Remigijus Jacinaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes, Širvintų FK Elektronas's Benediktas Bračas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rokas Bačkys came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Širvintų FK Elektronas reached it. Adomas Dulevičius in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Remigijus Jacinaitis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 35 minutes, Evaldas Dalinkevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medeyki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaldas Dalinkevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustas Nekrašas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigijus Jacinaitis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Titas Stankevičius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rokas Bačkys having to make a save. Rokas Bačkys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titas Stankevičius in the 43rd minute of play. Rokas Bačkys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titas Stankevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th match minute, Medeyki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustas Nekrašas to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Titas Stankevičius made a kick off. Rokas Bačkys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristijonas Endrulis in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Faustas Nekrašas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Širvintų FK Elektronas's Remigijus Jacinaitis. Remigijus Jacinaitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, Širvintų FK Elektronas's goal looked a bit too open when Evaldas Dalinkevičius came free, but Remigijus Jacinaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Margiris Sviderskis during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Rokas Bačkys, was totally fooled by Širvintų FK Elektronas's Algitas Ancikas, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Margiris Barauskas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Faustas Nekrašas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigijus Jacinaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigijus Jacinaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaldas Dalinkevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Širvintų FK Elektronas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gediminas Remeika hit a great ball. Faustas Nekrašas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigijus Jacinaitis having to interfere. Širvintų FK Elektronas's Remigijus Jacinaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustas Nekrašas in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Širvintų FK Elektronas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Algitas Ancikas hit a great ball. Gediminas Remeika hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Remigijus Jacinaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaldas Dalinkevičius in the 80th minute of the match. Širvintų FK Elektronas's Titas Stankevičius collided with an opponent after 82 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Šarūnas Ginčas during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, one of Medeyki:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Medeyki. 87 minutes into the game, Adomas Dulevičius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medeyki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Širvintų FK Elektronas the free kick. If Kristijonas Endrulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaldas Dalinkevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Širvintų FK Elektronas defense, Faustas Nekrašas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigijus Jacinaitis. The Širvintų FK Elektronas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigijus Jacinaitis should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Širvintų FK Elektronas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Medeyki.
