Slazai's Tadas Laureckas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mantas Raila in the 18th minute of play. Marijonas Balkys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrius Kirklys having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Mantas Raila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FBK Jarmaliskes and the Slazai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mantas Raila hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Slazai got a freekick which was hit by Martynas Pažarauskas. When Tadas Puščius came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the FBK Jarmaliskes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadas Puščius couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadas Puščius made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Slazai's Romas Akelis got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Marijonas Balkys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Žydrūnas Raskevičius in the 61st minute of play forced Slazai's goalkeeper Tadas Laureckas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadas Puščius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Tadas Laureckas made a huge save. In the 69th minute Žydrūnas Raskevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadas Laureckas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Rupertas Dirkys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FBK Jarmaliskes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slazai the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, FBK Jarmaliskes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupertas Dirkys to maneuver through the defense.
