Švėkšnos Ašis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Norageliai the free kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kajus Bleda to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Norageliai's zone, Aurelio Lon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juozapas Stasiulis came out of the goal and Aurelio Lon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juozapas Stasiulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vidas Lileika in the 62nd minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Aurelio Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Švėkšnos Ašis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Lon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Virginijus Sadeckas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Lon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juozapas Stasiulis having to make a save. In the 76th minute Gytis Aglinskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Norageliai's Juozapas Stasiulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Pajazo in the 96th minute of play. Švėkšnos Ašis were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
