Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Baikštys started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes FBK Pajudris got a freekick which was hit by Donatas Statkus. In the 14th match minute, FC Kretinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaidas Jankus to maneuver through the defense. Vladas Puščius came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Faustas Birbilas could save by the left post. Faustas Birbilas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. FBK Pajudris's Naglis Mileška got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Kretinga's Faustas Birbilas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC Kretinga from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, FBK Pajudris's Naglis Mileška sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustas Birbilas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vladas Puščius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Merūnas Jurkaitis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrius Šaulys was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kretinga's goalkeeper Faustas Birbilas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to FC Kretinga getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Merūnas Jurkaitis hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naglis Mileška stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Tomas Baikštys tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrius Šaulys saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 56 played minutes FBK Pajudris got a freekick which was hit by Rimas Aliukonis. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kretinga's goalkeeper Faustas Birbilas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldas Povilionis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Andrius Šaulys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldas Povilionis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. FC Kretinga's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 65th match minute, FBK Pajudris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaclovas Butvilas to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Andrius Šaulys managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when FC Kretinga's Aldas Povilionis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Baikštys's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrius Šaulys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Aldas Povilionis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Baikštys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Baikštys might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrius Šaulys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Baikštys ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldas Povilionis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merūnas Jurkaitis in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrius Šaulys saved FBK Pajudris from getting behind. Andrius Šaulys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Baikštys in the 89th minute of play. Faustas Birbilas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladas Puščius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrius Šaulys came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kretinga's Aldas Povilionis. But to his dismay, Aldas Povilionis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Kretinga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
