Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Naglis Mileška started the match with the kick off. Andrius Šaulys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Staškus in the 3rd minute of play. In the 10th minute, Tomas Staškus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andrius Šaulys. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 14th minute, Naglis Mileška hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Donatas Statkus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ugnius Jakštas, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Andrius Šaulys made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Antanas Makelevičius sent off a good shot on target. Antanas Makelevičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Andrius Šaulys made a huge save. When Vaclovas Butvilas fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FBK Pajudris's protests and gave Vaclovas Butvilas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Vaclovas Butvilas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Staškus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Andrius Šaulys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Andrius Šaulys managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when SM Jaunimelis's Antanas Makelevičius fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antanas Makelevičius got free with Andrius Šaulys in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SM Jaunimelis's Tomas Staškus managed to work through FBK Pajudris's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tomas Staškus dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Antanas Makelevičius might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrius Šaulys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antanas Makelevičius ran back to his position shaking his head. If Naglis Mileška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, FBK Pajudris's Naglis Mileška sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justas Diliūnas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SM Jaunimelis! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FBK Pajudris's goalkeeper Andrius Šaulys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 61 minutes of play, SM Jaunimelis's Tomas Staškus made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrius Šaulys was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FBK Pajudris booed when SM Jaunimelis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naglis Palčiauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrius Šaulys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Staškus's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Staškus in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrius Šaulys saved FBK Pajudris from getting behind. In the 75th minute of the match Ugnius Jakštas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrius Šaulys showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FBK Pajudris's Andrius Šaulys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antanas Makelevičius in the 78th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, SM Jaunimelis's Antanas Makelevičius made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrius Šaulys was left in no man's land by his defense there! FBK Pajudris's Andrius Šaulys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Staškus in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Staškus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrius Šaulys was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Ligitas Zelmikas charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ligitas Zelmikas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SM Jaunimelis getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ligitas Zelmikas hit a great ball. When Tomas Staškus came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SM Jaunimelis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Staškus couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antanas Makelevičius in the 94th minute of play forced FBK Pajudris's goalkeeper Andrius Šaulys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antanas Makelevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SM Jaunimelis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
