In the 25th minute FC Biržai were awarded a corner. Motiejus Ramanauskas went to the cornerflag to take it. After 29 played minutes FC Biržai got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinas Samuilis. In the 31st minute, Vladas Puščius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FBK Pajudris's Andrius Šaulys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jotautas Butautas in the 34th minute of play. Konstantinas Bernotas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaclovas Butvilas in the 36th minute. A collision led to FC Biržai getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Motiejus Ramanauskas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjaminas Lubinas in the 44th minute of play forced FC Biržai's goalkeeper Konstantinas Bernotas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladas Puščius came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Konstantinas Bernotas could save by the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jotautas Butautas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Andrius Šaulys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Butters struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Andrius Šaulys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Biržai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jotautas Butautas in the 61st minute of play forced FBK Pajudris's goalkeeper Andrius Šaulys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Harry Butters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrius Šaulys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Butters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jotautas Butautas got free with Andrius Šaulys in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FBK Pajudris's zone, Harry Butters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrius Šaulys came out of the goal and Harry Butters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FBK Pajudris's Andrius Šaulys got control of the ball when Jotautas Butautas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Butters in the 80th minute of play forced FBK Pajudris's goalkeeper Andrius Šaulys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Harry Butters made a precise shot to the right of Andrius Šaulys. FBK Pajudris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Andrius Šaulys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Butters in the 86th minute of the match. Jotautas Butautas might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrius Šaulys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jotautas Butautas ran back to his position shaking his head. Harry Butters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrius Šaulys having to interfere. The supporters of FBK Pajudris booed when FC Biržai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Motiejus Ramanauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
