Spectators: 7750 (Terracing: 5814, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rupertas Eitutis kicked off to start the match. Algimantas Bačys's late challenge caught a Akliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Algimantas Bačys helped the player get up and apologised. Rupertas Eitutis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vytautas Ačas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Vytautas Ačas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vydas Eišmontas's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Žydrūnas Norvilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donatas Rasiulis in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, FBK Sereje's Nedas Urbonavičius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vytautas Ačas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FBK Sereje reached it. 23 minutes into the game, Rupertas Eitutis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vytautas Ačas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donatas Rasiulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Žydrūnas Norvilas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Donatas Rasiulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akliai's supporters rose to their feet, but Donatas Rasiulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Žydrūnas Norvilas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vytautas Ačas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vydas Eišmontas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in FBK Sereje fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Žydrūnas Norvilas, was totally fooled by Akliai's Rimas Zinkevičius, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Akliai getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Algirdas Rimeika hit a great ball. Kastytis Rupšys was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donatas Rasiulis to strike the kick off in the second half. Žydrūnas Norvilas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donatas Rasiulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rupertas Eitutis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustas Vaškys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Žydrūnas Norvilas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vydas Eišmontas struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Vytautas Ačas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FBK Sereje. Vydas Eišmontas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vytautas Ačas made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Vydas Eišmontas sent off a good shot on target. 2-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Donatas Rasiulis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Žydrūnas Norvilas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjaminas Lukoševičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Akliai's goalkeeper Vytautas Ačas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rupertas Eitutis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vytautas Ačas came out and tried to block the shot, but Rupertas Eitutis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
