Spectators: 7754 (Terracing: 5817, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) FBK Shyaulyay's Arnas Janulionis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Tauras Grubliauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FK Ekstra's Rytis Ambras got a free kick in the 6th minute. Aurelijus Baltuška received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Emilis Danilaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marijus Davanauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Marijus Davanauskas came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FK Ekstra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marijus Davanauskas couldn't finish the play. Aurelijus Baltuška fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilis Danilaitis having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, FK Ekstra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marijus Davanauskas to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, FK Ekstra's goalkeeper Aidas Grunskis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldas Lapkauskas. Haroldas Lapkauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Aidas Grunskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilis Danilaitis came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Ekstra's Marijus Davanauskas. But to his dismay, Marijus Davanauskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to FBK Shyaulyay getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Girkantas Bačkys hit a great ball. FBK Shyaulyay's Emilis Danilaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marijus Davanauskas in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelijus Baltuška to strike the kick off in the second half. Aidas Grunskis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladas Skersys, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Evaldas Vertelis kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Aurelijus Baltuška managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Ekstra's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelijus Baltuška was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilis Danilaitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Aurelijus Baltuška recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilis Danilaitis. Aurelijus Baltuška showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When Arnas Janulionis came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FBK Shyaulyay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnas Janulionis couldn't finish the play. When FBK Shyaulyay's Arnas Janulionis in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Ekstra's goalie prevented a goal. After 74 minutes, Marijus Davanauskas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FBK Shyaulyay's Emilis Danilaitis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tauras Grubliauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Haroldas Lapkauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aidas Grunskis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldas Lapkauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Marijus Davanauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK Ekstra's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
