Zigmantas Balabonas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Village Records's Vidmantas Černiauskas got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gustaytse's Dainius Samoška in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zigmantas Balabonas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adomas Aliukonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidmantas Černiauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Vidmantas Černiauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vidmantas Černiauskas fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Village Records's protests and gave Vidmantas Černiauskas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gustaytse booed when Village Records was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidmantas Černiauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Albinas Cicėnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adomas Aliukonis was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After having played for 36 minutes, Vidmantas Černiauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Albinas Cicėnas made the kick off in the second half. Albinas Cicėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hubertas Šaltenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigmantas Balabonas having to interfere. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Gustaytse's Dainius Samoška sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zigmantas Balabonas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Village Records's zone, Hubertas Šaltenis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zigmantas Balabonas came out of the goal and Hubertas Šaltenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaytse's Adomas Aliukonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albinas Cicėnas in the 79th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Village Records got a freekick which was hit by Vidmantas Černiauskas. Gustaytse's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Albinas Cicėnas 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Zigmantas Balabonas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubertas Šaltenis in the 89th minute of the match. Gustaytse's Hubertas Šaltenis got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Gustaytse's goal looked a bit too open when Airūnas Daniela came free, but Adomas Aliukonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
