Laurynas Medišauskas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Zigmantas Balabonas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Klemensas Kimbartas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigmantas Balabonas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Village Records's zone, Laurynas Medišauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zigmantas Balabonas came out of the goal and Laurynas Medišauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Klemensas Kimbartas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zigmantas Balabonas was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th match minute, Village Records was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albinas Cicėnas to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, one of Village Records:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Village Records:s Zigmantas Balabonas showed great skill when he stopped Alius Balsevičius:s penalty. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vidmantas Černiauskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zigmantas Balabonas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurynas Medišauskas in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, FC Pusaloto's Klemensas Kimbartas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zigmantas Balabonas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 62 minutes, Laurynas Medišauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pusaloto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurynas Medišauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zigmantas Balabonas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klemensas Kimbartas in the 64th minute of play. Vidmantas Černiauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kęstutis Sadauskas made a huge save. Pranas Lopeta's late challenge caught a Village Records's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pranas Lopeta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, FC Pusaloto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pranas Lopeta to maneuver through the defense. FC Pusaloto's Kęstutis Sadauskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pusaloto from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Village Records booed when FC Pusaloto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurgis Andrašiūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zigmantas Balabonas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurynas Medišauskas went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Klemensas Kimbartas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigmantas Balabonas having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Village Records's goal looked a bit too open when Laurynas Medišauskas came free, but Zigmantas Balabonas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Pusaloto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
