Audrius Aleknius's late challenge caught a FBK Žalgirio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kajus Balvočius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FBK Žalgirio. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vaclovas Uogintas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute, Eugenijus Baktys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marijonas Burnickas struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Vaclovas Uogintas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FBK Žalgirio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of FBK Žalgirio booed when FK Stariske was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaidas Balaišis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Klemensas Kuliešius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FBK Žalgirio getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Benas Danilevičius hit a great ball. Tauras Virbickas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldas Badauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Agatas Mikuckis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FBK Žalgirio's Vėjas Žalpys got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FK Stariske succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FBK Žalgirio had controlled the match.
