Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marijonas Budraitis started the match with the kick off. Eigirdas Banaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marijonas Budraitis in the 6th minute of the match. Eigirdas Banaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marijonas Budraitis in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, FBK Tauraginai's goal looked a bit too open when Marijonas Budraitis came free, but Eigirdas Banaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, FBK Tauraginai's goalkeeper Eigirdas Banaitis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jogaila Šarkinas. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Marijonas Budraitis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the FBK Tauraginai defense, Arūnas Steponavičius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eigirdas Banaitis. The FBK Tauraginai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eigirdas Banaitis should have stopped the shot. Marijonas Budraitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eigirdas Banaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, FBK Tauraginai's goalkeeper Eigirdas Banaitis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arūnas Steponavičius. Eigirdas Banaitis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arūnas Steponavičius's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Eigirdas Banaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marijonas Budraitis in the 23rd minute of play. In the 32nd minute Haroldas Sabaitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eigirdas Banaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jogaila Šarkinas got free with Eigirdas Banaitis in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vydas Melekša kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, FBK Peshtuvenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arūnas Steponavičius to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FBK Tauraginai's Eigirdas Banaitis got control of the ball when Arūnas Steponavičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eigirdas Banaitis made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Arūnas Steponavičius sent off a good shot on target. Jogaila Šarkinas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Eigirdas Banaitis made a huge save. Arnoldas Norkus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domas Drazdauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Marijonas Budraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eigirdas Banaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Domas Drazdauskas made the kick off in the second half. Eigirdas Banaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jogaila Šarkinas in the 52nd minute of play. Eigirdas Banaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldas Sabaitis in the 55th minute of the match. Arūnas Steponavičius scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eigirdas Banaitis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eigirdas Banaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marijonas Budraitis in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes FBK Tauraginai got a freekick which was hit by Vydas Melekša. Jogaila Šarkinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes FBK Tauraginai got a freekick which was hit by Vydas Melekša. Eigirdas Banaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arūnas Steponavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, FBK Tauraginai's Alius Ratkevičius seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alius Ratkevičius the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FBK Tauraginai protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alius Ratkevičius had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FBK Tauraginai fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for FBK Peshtuvenay. Ugnius Astrauskas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eigirdas Banaitis. 4-1. Domas Drazdauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Arnoldas Norkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eigirdas Banaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jogaila Šarkinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match, Domas Drazdauskas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnoldas Norkus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of FBK Tauraginai booed when FBK Peshtuvenay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arūnas Steponavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolandas Fabijanskas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Sigitas Ainis kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FBK Peshtuvenay had played much better football throughout.
