After some careless play in the FC VILNIUS UNITED defense, Eitautas Bakaitis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darijus Baltūsis. The FC VILNIUS UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darijus Baltūsis should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Eitautas Bakaitis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bliuviskiai's Faustas Dervinis got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Bliuviskiai's goal looked a bit too open when Alius Bernotas came free, but Titas Dirkys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristijonas Urnikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germanas Burokas during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Germanas Burokas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Bliuviskiai's Dangiras Kriukas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darijus Baltūsis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustas Dervinis in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Faustas Dervinis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Darijus Baltūsis, 3-1. Darijus Baltūsis made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Eitautas Bakaitis sent off a good shot on target. Faustas Dervinis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Darijus Baltūsis came out and tried to block the shot, but Faustas Dervinis slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 37th minute. Dangiras Kriukas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darijus Baltūsis. FC VILNIUS UNITED's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Darijus Baltūsis made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Eitautas Bakaitis sent off a good shot on target. Bliuviskiai's Eitautas Bakaitis got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustas Dervinis was the one to do the kick off. If Eitautas Bakaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bliuviskiai's Titas Dirkys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alius Bernotas in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of FC VILNIUS UNITED booed when Bliuviskiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Šulcius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Bliuviskiai's Faustas Dervinis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darijus Baltūsis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Darijus Baltūsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustas Dervinis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Eitautas Bakaitis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bliuviskiai's supporters rose to their feet, but Eitautas Bakaitis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darijus Baltūsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustas Dervinis in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darijus Baltūsis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eitautas Bakaitis in the 84th minute of play forced FC VILNIUS UNITED's goalkeeper Darijus Baltūsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darijus Baltūsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eitautas Bakaitis in the 86th minute of the match. Titas Dirkys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alius Bernotas's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Alius Bernotas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titas Dirkys having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bliuviskiai fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC VILNIUS UNITED had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
