Laurynas Pikturna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beržas Biknius in the 3rd minute of play. After 18 played minutes FC Panevežio Banga got a freekick which was hit by Kristijonas Kudzys. Eidvilas Dūdonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurynas Pikturna having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vaidotas Kalpokas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurynas Pikturna was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Panevežio Banga's goalkeeper Laurynas Pikturna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Eidvilas Dūdonis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nakiskeliai's supporters rose to their feet, but Eidvilas Dūdonis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurynas Pikturna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the game, Eidvilas Dūdonis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nakiskeliai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Panevežio Banga the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Nakiskeliai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloyzas Dervinis to maneuver through the defense. Einaras Žąsinas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Aistis Slankauskas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Panevežio Banga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aistis Slankauskas couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Panevežio Banga's goalkeeper Laurynas Pikturna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eidvilas Dūdonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Laurynas Pikturna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, FC Panevežio Banga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vaidotas Kalpokas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aistis Slankauskas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Kęstutis Matulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Panevežio Banga's supporters rose to their feet, but Kęstutis Matulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arūnas Stanaitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Aistis Slankauskas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jeronimas Vaičiūnas's late challenge caught a FC Panevežio Banga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimas Vaičiūnas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nakiskeliai's Jeronimas Vaičiūnas got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Vaidotas Kalpokas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eidvilas Dūdonis took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurynas Pikturna. Laurynas Pikturna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 66 minutes into the match, FC Panevežio Banga's goal looked a bit too open when Eidvilas Dūdonis came free, but Laurynas Pikturna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beržas Biknius's late challenge caught a FC Panevežio Banga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beržas Biknius helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nakiskeliai's Beržas Biknius got a free kick in the 69th minute. FC Panevežio Banga's Gabrielius Ignačiūnas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nakiskeliai. In the 75th minute of the match Liutauras Tamošaitis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurynas Pikturna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arūnas Stanaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kęstutis Matulis went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Beržas Biknius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Eidvilas Dūdonis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Laurynas Pikturna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Raimondas Nagevičius was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. In the 89th minute of the match Modestas Baronas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurynas Pikturna skillfully saved the ball. Eidvilas Dūdonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurynas Pikturna having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nakiskeliai had played much better football throughout.
