Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Raimondas Liubauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskaras Stanaitis got free with Vėjas Dirmeikis in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orestas Gudavičius struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Vėjas Dirmeikis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasudonis. In the 31st minute FC Nedzinges were awarded a corner. Tomas Abakaitis went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Darijus Dirvonas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After having played for 33 minutes, Raimondas Liubauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nedzinges's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimondas Liubauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Nedzinges's Vėjas Dirmeikis got control of the ball when Oskaras Stanaitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gytis Girdauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimondas Liubauskas in the 40th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, FC Nedzinges's Laimonas Nikontas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gytis Girdauskas. 78 minutes into the match, Pasudonis's Oskaras Stanaitis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vėjas Dirmeikis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pasudonis booed when FC Nedzinges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrikas Liaugminas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vėjas Dirmeikis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskaras Stanaitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th match minute, FC Nedzinges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darijus Dirvonas to maneuver through the defense. Raimondas Liubauskas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gytis Girdauskas having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Pasudonis's goal looked a bit too open when Laimonas Nikontas came free, but Gytis Girdauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Nedzinges's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
