Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laimonas Banys started the match with the kick off. Stasys Kalasiūnas charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stasys Kalasiūnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, FK Kasoniu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasys Kalasiūnas to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Laimonas Banys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadas Ulčinas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubertas Medišauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klemensas Vasauskas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Donatas Stockus came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC De Burai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donatas Stockus couldn't finish the play. After 27 played minutes FK Kasoniu got a freekick which was hit by Hubertas Medišauskas. 29 minutes into the game, FK Kasoniu's Bronislovas Aukščionis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klemensas Vasauskas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 32nd minute Laimonas Banys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadas Ulčinas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Hubertas Medišauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bronislovas Aukščionis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubertas Medišauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Klemensas Vasauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ąžuolas Poška's late challenge caught a FK Kasoniu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ąžuolas Poška helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Ąžuolas Poška hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bronislovas Aukščionis to make the kick off. Hubertas Medišauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemensas Vasauskas having to interfere. Klemensas Vasauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bronislovas Aukščionis in the 56th minute of the match. Tadas Ulčinas came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FC De Burai's Laimonas Banys. But to his dismay, Laimonas Banys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hubertas Medišauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemensas Vasauskas having to interfere. Bronislovas Aukščionis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Klemensas Vasauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Hubertas Medišauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Klemensas Vasauskas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hubertas Medišauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemensas Vasauskas having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donatas Stockus during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hubertas Medišauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laimonas Banys kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Bronislovas Aukščionis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over FK Kasoniu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC De Burai throughout the match.
