Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cornell University's Benediktas Drigotas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnoldas Stonkus kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tautvydas Dargis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskaras Skripkauskas having to interfere. When Benediktas Drigotas came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Cornell University fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benediktas Drigotas couldn't finish the play. Oskaras Skripkauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benediktas Drigotas in the 20th minute of the match. When Cornell University's Benediktas Drigotas, in the 21st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cornell University. Benediktas Drigotas might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oskaras Skripkauskas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benediktas Drigotas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tautvydas Dargis took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oskaras Skripkauskas. Oskaras Skripkauskas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arnoldas Stonkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Mindaugas Orbakas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dalius Gimbutas, passed just outside the right post. Zenonas Boguckis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalius Gimbutas having to interfere. Oskaras Skripkauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tautvydas Dargis in the 36th minute of play. Oskaras Skripkauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tautvydas Dargis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to FC Nojus getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Regimantas Bacys hit a great ball. Cornell University's Laimutis Kedušis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Nojus. Oskaras Skripkauskas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benediktas Drigotas's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. FC Nojus's Zenonas Boguckis got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mindaugas Orbakas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cornell University's goal looked a bit too open when Zenonas Boguckis came free, but Dalius Gimbutas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match FC Nojus got a corner. Cornell University's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Regimantas Bacys ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Regimantas Bacys got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dalius Gimbutas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mindaugas Orbakas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalius Gimbutas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cornell University's zone, Zenonas Boguckis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalius Gimbutas came out of the goal and Zenonas Boguckis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalius Gimbutas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenonas Boguckis in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Zenonas Boguckis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cornell University's Dalius Gimbutas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Zenonas Boguckis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalius Gimbutas. Cornell University's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zenonas Boguckis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Juras Gužauskas charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juras Gužauskas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cornell University's Juras Gužauskas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Mindaugas Orbakas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalius Gimbutas having to interfere. Mantas Alminas's late challenge caught a FC Nojus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mantas Alminas helped the player get up and apologised. Oskaras Skripkauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benediktas Drigotas in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Benediktas Drigotas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cornell University's supporters rose to their feet, but Benediktas Drigotas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskaras Skripkauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
