Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zenonas Grinius started the match with the kick off. If Vitalijus Marazas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 4 played minutes FC Ukmerge got a freekick which was hit by Vitalijus Marazas. 6 minutes into the match, FC Ukmerge's goalkeeper Ramūnas Dundulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Žydrūnas Achilas. Eduardas Stanaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitalijus Marazas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes FC Sharlavki got a freekick which was hit by Žydrūnas Achilas. In the 9th minute of the match Vaidotas Borovskis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardas Stanaitis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Vitalijus Marazas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardas Stanaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaunius Cibas charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaunius Cibas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Sharlavki! The referee gave FC Ukmerge a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vaidotas Borovskis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Sharlavki's Eduardas Stanaitis. 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Ukmerge's Tautrimas Mankus got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eduardas Stanaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitalijus Marazas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Sharlavki's Žydrūnas Achilas got his second yellow card of the match in the 24th minute. The referee ordered Žydrūnas Achilas off the ground. Žydrūnas Achilas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Vitalijus Marazas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Sharlavki's Arnoldas Daukša got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Stasys Kerpauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ramūnas Dundulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zenonas Grinius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincentas Šaulys during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Ukmerge! Stasys Kerpauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ramūnas Dundulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Sharlavki players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ukmerge were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitalijus Marazas made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Vitalijus Marazas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ramūnas Dundulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasys Kerpauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Zenonas Grinius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Sharlavki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ukmerge the free kick. Titas Deveikis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Vitalijus Marazas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitalijus Marazas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. FC Ukmerge's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 67 minutes into the match, FC Sharlavki's goal looked a bit too open when Vitalijus Marazas came free, but Eduardas Stanaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Ukmerge defense, Stasys Kerpauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramūnas Dundulis. The FC Ukmerge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramūnas Dundulis should have stopped the shot. FC Ukmerge's Ramūnas Dundulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasys Kerpauskas in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Tautrimas Mankus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ukmerge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tautrimas Mankus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Vydas Kožukauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Vydas Kožukauskas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduardas Stanaitis. The goal made the score 1-3. FC Ukmerge's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
