After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Merūnas Diečkus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tervydoniai's supporters rose to their feet, but Merūnas Diečkus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vygandas Žvirblys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oskaras Saunorius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Tervydoniai lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
