Nasos Vezirgiannidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donatas Labanauskas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nasos Vezirgiannidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Nedas Žadeika acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Airūnas Balčys. 23 minutes into the match, Rozalimas's Nasos Vezirgiannidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donatas Labanauskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erlandas Petroliūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Donatas Labanauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramūnas Spudys, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gvidonas Katilius to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramūnas Spudyss short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Donatas Labanauskas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Zhao Yang Jun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donatas Labanauskas. That made the score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Zhao Yang Jun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nasos Vezirgiannidis got free with Donatas Labanauskas in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Zhao Yang Jun fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Donatas Labanauskas, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Sauciku's Gvidonas Margelis got a free kick in the 65th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Donatas Labanauskas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gytis Lydeka's late challenge caught a Rozalimas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gytis Lydeka helped the player get up and apologised. Gytis Lydeka hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Yang Jun in the 76th minute of play forced Sauciku's goalkeeper Donatas Labanauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
