Giedrius Kiela in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolandas Varnas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Jeronimas Adomėnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Antanaitis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Galvydiske was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinaras Nausėda to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Galvydiske's Eligijus Karalius in the 21st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Rolandas Varnas was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tottenham Hotspur through an amazing save. In the 24th minute, Svajūnas Gauba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eligijus Karalius came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Galvydiske fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eligijus Karalius couldn't finish the play. Rolandas Varnas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giedrius Kiela in the 27th minute. Jeronimas Adomėnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Adolfas Nakčiunas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolandas Varnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eligijus Karalius in the 36th minute of play. Jeronimas Adomėnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adolfas Nakčiunas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Žygimantas Gureckas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfas Nakčiunas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eligijus Karalius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolandas Varnas having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eligijus Karalius to strike the kick off in the second half. Sikstas Ušeckas's late challenge caught a Galvydiske's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sikstas Ušeckas helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tottenham Hotspur! 69 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspur's goal looked a bit too open when Giedrius Kiela came free, but Rolandas Varnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Tottenham Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Zenonas Butvilas. Jeronimas Adomėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Giedrius Kiela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Eligijus Karalius scored 4-0 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolandas Varnas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tottenham Hotspur's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
