The audience was convinced that Augustas Majauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adas Valionis was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The supporters of Warrub booed when Janioniai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domas Gasparaitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustas Majauskas in the 41st minute of play forced Janioniai's goalkeeper Adas Valionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Warrub fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Warrub's Augustas Majauskas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Janioniai's Arnas Ekertas got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stasys Aleksandravičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romas Ciparis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnas Ekertas in the 52nd minute of the match. If Feliksas Fabijonavičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliksas Fabijonavičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adas Valionis made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Feliksas Fabijonavičius sent off a good shot on target. Faustas Bajorūnas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Feliksas Fabijonavičius succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 66th playminute. 69 minutes into the game, Klemensas Dambrauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warrub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Janioniai the free kick. After 69 played minutes Warrub got a freekick which was hit by Klemensas Dambrauskas. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Arnas Ekertas sped through Warrub's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romas Ciparis. The supporters of Warrub booed when Janioniai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narūnas Bilota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Janioniai got a freekick which was hit by Arnas Ekertas. Feliksas Fabijonavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adas Valionis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Janioniai's Gytis Maižys got a free kick in the 84th minute. A hard shot 92 in the game by Feliksas Fabijonavičius from a close distance when the talented Adas Valionis managed to make a qualified save. Janioniai's players were relieved. In the 97th minute, Feliksas Fabijonavičius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Janioniai fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Warrub were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
